1Namo
arahato sammā- Homage to the Great seer, the
worthy
sambuddhassa
mahesino One,
Rightly Self-awakened.
2Namo
uttama-dhammassa, Homage to the
highest Dhamma, well-
Svakkhātasseva
tenidha. Taught
by him here.
3Namo
mahā –sanghassapi, And homage to
the Great Sangha,
Visuddha-sila-ditthino. Pure in virtue & view.
4Namo
omātyaraddhassa, Homage to
the Triple Gem
Ratanattayassa
sadhukaṃ. Beginning
with auspiciously with AUM.
5Namo
omākātītassa, And
homage to those three objects that
Tassa
vatthuttayassapi. Have
left base things behind.
6Namo-kārappabhāvena, By the potency of this homage,
may
Vigacchantu
upaddavā. Misfortunes disappear.
7Namo-kārānubhāvena, By the potency of this homage,
Suvatthi
hotu sabbadā. May there always be well-being.
8Namo-karassa
tejena, By
the power of this homage, may
Vidhimhi
homi, tejavā. Success in this ceremony be
mine.
