สามัญญานุโมทนาคาถา : Common Rejoicing of Merits.

Yathā
vārivahā pūrā paripurenti sāgaraṃ, Just
as the rivers full of water fill the
Ocean
full,
Evameva
ito dinnaṃ petānaṃ upakappati, Even
so does that here given benefit
To
the departed ones.
Icchitaṃ
patṭhitaṃ tumhaṃ khippameva Whatever you wished of wanted
may
Samijjhatu, it
quickly be fulfilled;
Sabbe
pūrentu saṅkappā cando pannaraso May
all your wishes be fulfilled as the
Yathā
mani jotiraso yathā. Moon
upon the fifteen day, or as
The
wish-fulfilling gem.

Sabbītīyo
vivajjantu May
all distress be averted,
Sabbarogo
vinassatu may
all diseases be destroyed,
Mā
te bhavatvantarāyo may no danger be for you,
Sukhī
dīghāyuko bhava may you be happy and long life.
Abhivadanasilissa
niccaṃ He
of respectful nature honouring
Vuddhā
pacayino cattaro who
ever the elders, Four qualities
Dhammā
vaddhanti āyu vanno for him increase; long life and
beauty,
Sukhaṃ
balaṃ. Happiness and strength.
